What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

  1. testing number bullets
  2. and two
  3. and now threeee

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

  • Testnig one bullet
  • two bullets
  • and now three

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
WHAT’S BEING PROPOSED

Legislation supported by special interest groups would automatically close schools labeled “low-performing” for three consecutive years — without parent input, transition planning, or individualized review.

Closing a school does not necessarily lead to better educational outcomes for students and their families. In fact, many of these students will be sent back to the struggling traditional public school they were trying to escape.

This one-size-fits-all approach prioritizes rigid policy over the real needs of students and families.

WHY AUTOMATIC CLOSURES FAIL

Closing a school does not necessarily lead to better educational outcomes for students and their families. In fact, many of these students are sent back to the struggling traditional public school they were trying to escape.

Here are few more reasons why automatic closure policies are bad for students:

  1. Punish students by disrupting learning and stability.
  2. Disproportionately harm vulnerable families with the fewest alternatives.
  3. Ignore proven alternatives, like targeted improvement plans and oversight.

Accountability should improve schools, not automatically shut them down.

NO PARENT VOICE

Automatic closure policies exclude parents and communities from closure decisions, even though they understand what is

working and what their children need.

REAL STUDENTS, REAL HARM

These schools serve students who already face barriers in traditional systems.

  • ~6,700 of students enrolled at these schools are students of color.
  • 40% are economically disadvantaged, far exceeding the state average of 29%.
  • 38% are students with disabilities, who will lose access to vital services if their schools close.

WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE PUBLIC VIRTUAL SCHOOLS

For many families, virtual schools are not a preference; they are a lifeline as they provide:

  • Flexibility for medical needs
  • Safer environments for bullying or anxiety
  • Options for rural families
  • Support for students who struggled elsewhere
